Dublin football goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton has received a four week suspension from the GAC following his high profile Croke Park dismissal against Armagh.

Dublin football goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton has received a four week suspension from the GAC following his high profile Croke Park dismissal against Armagh.

Cluxton, who is linked with a move to eircom League soccer outfit St Pat's, was lucky to escape a longer ban after kicking out in an off-the-ball incident.

Meanwhile, Kevin Fitzpatrick will miss out on Laois' All-Ireland quarter-final clash with Armagh on Sunday after picking up a month's ban while Down's Dan Gordon received a similar ban.
