Babs Keating has made six changes to his Tipperary team for Sunday's NHL Division 1B encounter with Kilkenny (Nowlan Park, throw-in 2.30pm).
Four of the changes are in defence, with Paul Curran, Declan Fanning, Conor O'Mahony and Benny Dunne all returning to the starting line-up.
Dunne, who captained Tipp in 2005, is expected to lead the Premier County this weekend in the absence of injured club-mate John O'Brien.
An impressive display as a second-half substitute in the defeat to Limerick has seen John Carroll drafted in at right half-forward, while Toomevara clubman Francis Devanney has been selected to partner Shane McGrath at midfield.
Diarmuid Fitzgerald, Hugh Maloney, Micheal Webster and Seamus Butler were all out of contention due to injury.
TIPPERARY (NHL v Kilkenny) - B Cummins; P Curran, P Maher, D Fanning; E Corcoran, C O'Mahony, B Dunne; S McGrath, F Devanney; J Corcoran, D Egan, L Corbett; E Kelly, D O'Hanlon, P Kelly.
