Kylie's dress voted outfit of the year

Kylie Minogue's dress from her latest video has been named top of the frocks in a national poll.

Kylie Minogue's dress from her latest video has been named top of the frocks in a national poll.

Kylie gyrated in a white, hooded creation for number one hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

Readers of Heat magazine voted it best outfit.

Kylie's cleavage-baring costume stole the spotlight from the raunchy look she adopted last year of tiny hot pants.

It beat Jennifer Lopez's Versace wedding dress and the asymmetric dress Big Brother contestant Helen Adams wore as she was evicted.

Heat's Style editor Eleonore Crompton said: "Kylie is the ultimate sex kitten - experimental without going overboard and she always hits the right note with her mix of high street and designer clothes.

"Immaculately turned out whether she's out shopping or on stage, Kylie is a winner with all age groups and with this outfit she manages to entertain the boys while still winning the admiration of the girls."

Worst outfit of the year was judged to be the see-through dress worn by The Bill's Jane Wall at the National TV Awards.

Readers of Heat also declared Kylie's Can't Get You Out Of My Head the best single and her LP Fever was named the year's best album.

Ant and Dec were named top TV personalities, with last year's winner Davina McCall nudged into second place.
