Gardaí in Dublin have arrested four men in their 40s and 50s following two separate cannabis seizures in the capital yesterday.

Gardaí said €700,000 worth of the drug was found during one of the raids, which took place in the Ranelagh area.

The cannabis was found hidden in air-conditioning units that had earlier arrived in Rosslare via ferry from Spain.

Gardaí said a further €500,000 worth of cannabis that had also arrived from Spain was seized in a separate raid at Dublin Port. No arrests were made during that operation.
