A motorist in Co. Monaghan reported seeing other drivers' personal data on his screen when sending an email via the 'Contact Us' portion of the NDLS site.

The applicant revealed he was able to read correspondence from different applicants giving security details of driving licences being renewed from others areas, including Co. Cork.

Meanwhile - people hit by a security breach involving Supervalu and Axa Insurance are being urged to cancel their credit cards.

A Clare based company - loyaltybuild - which operated getaway breaks says it's been the target of a sophisticated criminal attack which has seen the details of at least 72,500 customers compromised.

SuperValu has set up a free phone number for customers affected - it's 1800 303 689.
