Jonny Milner in his Toyota Corolla WRC has won the Manx International Rally winning by almost five minutes from Kenny McKinstry.
British driver Milner had a comfortable winning margin of almost five minutes over the Irish driver.
McKinstry who lost over three minutes with two punctures earlier in the event, was promoted to second place this morning after Finland’s Tapio Laukkanen was excluded for being over maximum lateness entering the final overnight halt last night.
Derek McGarrity took third and top points in the Toshiba Irish Tarmac Championship where he has
extended his lead.
Milner has also extended his advantage in the Pirelli British Championship.
One of the biggest battles today was for fourth place as Dubliner Austin MacHale finally finished ahead of Wexford’s, Eamonn Boland.
Northern Ireland’s Seamus Leonard, driving a Subaru, had a dominant win in the showroom category.
After overnight leader Ryan Champion put his Ford Puma off the road today, Fermanagh’s Garry Jennings took victory in the Super 1600 category.
