The Beckhams are to reach a global audience as guest presenters for the MTV movie awards, it was announced today.
The couple will hand over the inaugural prize for the best transatlantic breakthrough at the ceremony in Los Angeles next week.

The event is being hosted by the Beckhams’ pal Justin Timberlake and will be screened on MTV in the UK and Ireland on June 7.
Other guest presenters for the star-studded event include Harrison Ford, Mark Wahlberg, Kate Hudson, Samuel L Jackson and P Diddy.
