IFK Gothenburg midfielder Hakan Mild is in talks with Wimbledon, according to Swedish media reports.

Mild, who scored for Sweden in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with England at Old Trafford, flew to London after the match for talks with the Selhurst Park club, who are part owned by a Scandinavian consortium.

The 30-year-old, who has also played for Swiss side Servette and Spain’s Real Sociedad in between three spells with the Ullevi club, would hook up with compatriot and former IFK team-mate Par Karlsson at the Division One club.

Swedish newspapers Expressen and Dagens Nyhetter have reported that the clubs have agreed a fee although personal terms are yet to be finalised.

IFK finished the recently completed Swedish season in fourth place.
