Galwegians kept their play-off hopes alive with a five-try haul against Dungannon at Crowley Park on Saturday.

In a superb second half display Galwegians ran in three tries, gaining their bonus point with a 68th minute Michael Swift try from a sweeping backline move.

Galwegians led 17 - 13 at half time courtesy of two tries - both from penalties the home side opted to kick for touch.

Hooker Jerry Flannery claimed the first after just four minutes which Elwood converted, while also adding a penalty.

The second came on 35 minutes when prop Peter Bracken claimed the touch after the forwards once again rumbled to the line.

However, in between Dungannon hit back to level pegging when left wing Seamus Mallon crossed in the 25th minute and two penalties from outhalf Mark Amrstrong had the Ulster side ahead on 32 minutes.

Thereafter Galwegians made sure of the points with Flannery adding his second four minutes after the restart.
