Four Nato soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Four service members have died in southern Afghanistan in the past two days, Nato said today.

The alliance said one service member died in an insurgent attack and another in a bomb blast yesterday.

The two other service members died today in a traffic accident in the south.

The coalition did not identify the nationalities of the dead or give further details. Nato forces usually wait for individual nations to identify their dead.

Separately, the coalition said a Nato helicopter made a forced landing in the south yesterday.

It said no one was killed and that initial reports said there was no enemy activity in the area.
