Everton are in talks with Ipswich striker Marcus Bent after the clubs agreed a fee for the 26-year-old.

Everton are in talks with Ipswich striker Marcus Bent after the clubs agreed a fee for the 26-year-old.

Bent, who spent last season on loan at Leicester, would become the Toffees’ first signing of the summer.

He scored 10 goals for the Foxes last season, including a last-minute winner against Everton at the Walkers Stadium in March.
