Spanish rescue services today found the bodies of two of the four crew members of a French-flagged catamaran that sank overnight off Spain’s Costa Brava due to heavy winds.
The two bodies were found near Cala Corquell, where the catamaran ran aground, one floating and the other one washed ashore, the state news agency Efe reported. Nationalities were not released.
The catamaran was crossing from the southern French city of Cannes to the Balearic Island of Ibiza.
