Bertie Ahern's party currently holds 74 seats with a number of constituencies still in the balance.

Recounts have been ordered in Dublin Central, Cork South West, Cork South Central, Kerry South, Limerick East Wicklow and Cavan Monaghan. The recount in Cavan Monaghan will resume on Tuesday.

Counts are still ongoing in Longford-Roscommon, Galway West, Laois-Offaly and Limerick East.

Fianna Fáil now have 74 seats, Fine Gael 28, Labour 19, Progressive Democrats 4 Sinn Féin 5, Greens 6 and independents have 14.
