Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has indicated his willingness to work with Kia Joorabchian, the man linked to a takeover of West Ham, at some stage in the future.
Scolari, who led Portugal to the World Cup semi-finals in the summer, is a friend of British-based businessman Joorabchian, whose Media Sports Investments company were involved in the transfers of Argentinian duo Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano to Upton Park.
“Kia is my friend, we have been talking a lot recently, in fact almost every day,” Scolari told the News of the World.
Joorabchian has strong connections to Scolari’s native Brazil, with MSI holding a controlling interest in Sao Paulo-based club Corinthians.
Scolari, who led Brazil to World Cup glory in 2002, added: “He has already approached me to work for him before and every offer he makes is respectful and deserves my attention.
“Right now, I am still coaching Portugal but nothing is impossible and certainly no door is closed.
“I often talk about jobs with Kia, if something was to happen in the future I am sure we would discuss it.”
