Belfast flats targeted in petrol-bomb attack

Two petrol bombs were thrown at flats in in north Belfast last night.

Two petrol bombs were thrown at flats in in north Belfast last night.

Just before midnight, two petrol bombs were thrown at the flats in the Cliftonville Avenue area.

One of them was thrown through the window of a first floor flat and caused some damage. The second did not ignite and was found in the garden.

No one was injured.

The PSNI is appealing to any witnesses to come forward.
