Australian Open winner Jennifer Capriati reached the semi-finals of the WTA US Indoor tournament in Oklahoma City with a 6-4 3-6 6-4 triumph over fellow American Lisa Raymond.
Second seed Capriati ousted the fifth seed to book a date with Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova, who beat Hungarian qualifier Aniko Kapros 6-4 6-4.
World number six Capriati completed a comeback from shoplifting and drug problems as a teenager by winning the Australian Open final over world number one Martina Hingis and is on course for another title win in Oklahoma.
Japan's Shinobu Asagoe reached her first WTA semi-final by defeating American Lilia Osterloh 6-4 6-1 but now meets top seed and defending champion Monica Seles.
Asagoe, 24, was a first-round loser to Hantuchova in the same tournament last year in what was the European's first pro victory.
Seles, in her first event since losing to Capriati in the Australian Open quarter-finals, had beaten fellow American Alexandra Stevenson in their quarter-final showdown.
