Cruz denies split with Cruise
Penelope Cruz says she is sorry her film career does not create as many headlines as her private life.
The Spanish actress's relationship with Tom Cruise has attracted huge media interest in recent months.
Cruz has found herself having to deny rumours about their private lives.
Recent media reports claimed the pair had split.
But during a promotional tour of Spain, Cruz told reporters: "We haven't split up, we haven't got married and I'm not pregnant either."
Cruz, who got together with recently divorced Cruise on the set of their film Vanilla Sky, confirmed that for the moment she would be flying between Los Angeles and Madrid where her family live, but this doesn't mean it is over with Tom.
She is currently taking a short break from Hollywood to spend time with her family.
