A woman in her late 50s has been killed in a house fire in Co Roscommon on Thursday morning.
Gardaí were alerted to the fire in Athleague shortly after 7am.
The woman, who was the sole occupant of the house at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A statement from gardaí said investigations into the matter are ongoing.
