Two men have been arrested after cannabis worth an estimated €60,000 was seized in Co Laois.
The seizure was made when Gardaí from the Laois Roads Policing Unit stopped a car while on routine patrol on the R445 near Emo.
Following a search of the car, cannabis herb worth €60,000 was seized, along with a quantity of cocaine worth in excess of €5,000 and a small amount of ecstasy.
Two men aged in their 20s were arrested and taken to a Garda station in Co Laois.
They are currently being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 and can be detained for up to seven days.
Gardaí said the investigation remains ongoing.
