Deer-ly beloved....

Being upstaged on your wedding day by a cheeky photobomber is hardly the stuff of dreams, especially after you've travelled across the globe for scenic nuptials but an Australian couple were thrilled to welcome an unexpected guest.

Melanie Joughalian and Lachlan Porteous, who had flown 10,000 miles from Sydney to exchange vows in Kerry on Wednesday, were joined by an inquisitive and friendly wild deer which strolled centre stage as they posed at Ladies View, Killarney, for the camera of their wedding photographer.

"I was just posing the couple then this little chap came out of nowhere and came right up to us," said photographer Adrian O'Neill of the (aptly named) Stay Wild Images.

The tourists up there were going wild when they saw it, they loved it, we were blown away!

Melanie and Lachlan had earlier exchanged vows in an outdoor bespoke ceremony under a gazebo at Ballyseede Castle Hotel, Tralee, which was also the reception venue.

Photographer Adrian whisked them off for a photoshoot in Killarney and Killarney National Park, before they returned to Ballyseede for their Irish castle celebrations.
