Ten-man Ireland have broken the deadlock to take the lead in their World Cup Qualifier against Holland at Lansdowne Road.

Jason McAteer - with a point to prove to his club - scored the first of the game in the 67th minute.

Steve Finnan, on for Robbie Keane after the dismissal of Gary Kelly, played the ball into the area and then crossed to McAteer who sent it thundering past van der Sar into the net.
