Ten UN staff among Algeria bomb victims

A car bomb killed 10 UN staff at the organisation’s refugee agency’s offices in Algiers today, a spokesman said.

A car bomb killed 10 UN staff at the organisation’s refugee agency’s offices in Algiers today, a spokesman said.

It was still unknown who died or which UN agencies they represented, Jean Fabre of the UN Development Program said.

Mr Fabre said he was given the tragic news by Marc Destanne De Bernis, the agency’s top official in the Algerian capital.
