Jordan launches her autobiography
Katie Price – the new-look Jordan – has launched her autobiography today at the start of the London Book Fair.
The book, Being Jordan: My Autobiography, is due to be published in mid-May, but has already sold 250,000 in advance orders, according to her publishers.
At today’s photocall she was inundated by photographers as she held up a cut-out of herself, dressed in a stars and stripes bikini.
Billed as “her first public appearance since I’m a Celebrity”, the event was to launch her book to the trade, and caused photographers to crowd five deep as they took shots of the busty model in London’s Olympia.
Since leaving the jungle camp, the glamour model has rebranded herself as Katie Price, her real name, and reportedly tried to ditch her sexy image as Jordan.
A spokeswoman for publishers, John Blake Publishing, said: “She caused an incredible stir.
“There were hordes of photographers, about five rows back.
“For the cover of the book, the photograph was taken by Terry O’Neill – it is a much more glamorous look than the Jordan look.”
