More than 150 people had to be evacuated as fire tore through an apartment building in southern Sweden.
Rescue workers said the blaze raged on the top floor of the building, spreading from end to end along the 200ft-long complex.
Fire officer Gunnar Hansson said no-one was seriously injured in the fire in Huskvarna, near the southern city of Jonkoping, but three people were taken to hospital with minor smoke inhalation.
Mr Hansson said the fire began on Sunday evening and lasted until Monday morning.
He said the flames largely burned themselves out on the top of the five-storey concrete building and did not spread to lower floors.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
