Dublin GAA officials have rubbished speculation that Laois manager Mick O'Dwyer has been approached to replace Tommy Lyons as football boss.
O'Dwyer is to remain in charge of Laois for the next two years, and the former Kerry boss dismissed the Dublin rumours.
Brian Mullins remains the bookies' favourite to take the reins in the capital.
Former Dublin player Mullins has the backing of many within the county board to succeed Lyons.
