A four-hour coach tour around Britain's M25 motorway has sold out.

The £15-a-head trip - which was set up by Brighton and Hove Bus Company - around the congestion-stricken highway starts at Junction Seven and takes in a shopping centre as well as Heathrow airport's Terminal Five.

It has has proved so popular that more dates have been added.

Organiser Simon Ashcroft told The Times newspaper: "We've got the anoraks, of course, and we've got people who like coaches. We've got lots of ladies booking on, which has surprised me. I am going to ask them why they are interested.

"It is a unique idea. People used to travel around the M25 when it was first built 26 years ago, but interest dropped off."
