All Saints 'split' over jacket row

Speculation is mounting that All Saints have split up after a huge row.

Speculation is mounting that All Saints have split up after a huge row.

According to reports, Mel Blatt and Shaznay Lewis are not talking to sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton.

Reports say Mel is being blamed for the split by insiders. An official announcement confirming the split is expected this week.

An insider said: "There is zero per cent chance of the band staying together. The time has come for something to be said officially and that will come imminently. Nicole and Natalie have even started recording as a duo."

The group's final bust-up reportedly came in December at Capital FM's Christmas concert. Incredibly, the row was over a jacket.

Both Shaznay and Natalie wanted to wear the same one for the performance - and since the row neither side has spoken to each other.

But All Saints' tour is still to go ahead.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.com the girls were totally committed to the tour in May. But he warned it could be the group's last: "They will certainly be breaking for Nicole to have the baby and Mel has voiced doubts before," he said.

"But they will definitely undertake the tour as planned, which would seem to indicate that they have not split up and have no plans to do so," he added.

All Saints new single All Hooked Up is released on Monday. It is expected to go straight to number one.
