Luckily for the TV star, it was only in a computer game.

Watch Conor McGregor wipe the floor with Conan O’Brien

Conor McGregor may be recovering from his first ever UFC defeat last weekend, but a video released last night shows he can still pack a hefty virtual punch.

To celebrate the upcoming release of UFC2 for the Xbox One and PS4, the Dublin fighter sat down with TV host Conan O’Brien for a game. The segment was filmed before McGregor fought Nate Diaz.

Video from Team Coco.

Creators EA Sports pulled out all the stops for the game, even creating a special one-off avatar for O’Brien.

Of course all that meant was the presenter got to see a realistic-looking version of himself get the tar beaten out of him by McGregor.

The UFC Featherweight champion didn’t spare his opponent in the octagon.

"I like you Conan, but I'm gonna whip your ass,” he said beforehand, and went on to do exactly that.
