Eight Romanian nationals, who are charged with credit card fraud, will today reapply for bail at the Dublin District Court.

The defendants have been requested to present genuine proof of their identity before bail applications can be considered.

Yesterday, it was ruled that bail was not viable as the eight had furnished false pieces of identity and had no ties to this country.

The men, the oldest of whom is 40, do not speak English.

Legal aid has been provided by the State.
