Jamie Heaslip returns as captain as Leinster take on Scarlets in the RDS tomorrow in an afternoon game.

Matt O’Connor’s side will be anxious for a win after last week’s narrow defeat to Glasgow in Scotland and will be boosted by the return of several Ireland internationals.

Rob Kearney and Devin Toner also make their first starts of the campaign, with Kearney at fullback and Toner joining Mike McCarthy in the second row.

Noel Reid will not take part - he is expected to be out for several weeks with the ankle injury he received in the opening minutes of last week’s match.

His replacement against Glasgow, Ian Madigan, starts at inside centre and Brendan Macken is named as outside centre.

The match is in the RDS on Saturday - kick-off at 2.40pm.
