The UFC promotional tour for Conor McGregor’s upcoming fight came to a tumultuous conclusion in Dublin on Tuesday - check out the backstage footage here.
McGregor will take on current UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo in Las Vegas in July and the relationship between the two, never friendly, has grown increasingly hostile during the tour.
The Dublin fighter received a hero’s welcome from the Irish when he took to the stage in the Convention Centre - while Aldo met with a barrage of boos.
McGregor was electrified by all the support and provoked Aldo even further than usual by grabbing his belt during the press conference.
The move infuriated Aldo who said: “I’m going to run him (McGregor) over like a truck without brakes”.
His comments are not likely to bother ‘Notorious’ McGregor who bounded around the stage, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.
The time for talking is now over. Dublin was the final stage of their worldwide tour - the fighters now return to their base camps to train and prepare for their summer showdown.
