A new statue of Jim McGuinness has appeared, immortalising him “for Services for Winning matches”.
Unsurprisingly it is the work of the clever PR folks from Paddy Power, who revealed the statue in their blog earlier today.
The statue was pictured outside Croke Park surrounded by adoring Donegal fans worshipping at the feet of their leader.

It follows on from the earlier work of the village of Laghey, who suggested religious icon status for the Donegal manager last week.
Paddy Power posted a vine this afternoon showing the statue taking up residence in their lobby near an earlier statue of David Moyes, last seen outside Old Trafford.
Donegal fans will be hoping McGuinness is a little more succeessful than Moyes come Sunday.
