Kelly out injured for Sligo's League campaign

Sligo forward David Kelly will miss all of their League campaign following ankle surgery.

However, manager Kevin Walsh expects him to return in time for their Championship opener against London in May.

Walsh said: "Losing David is a big loss for us. He will definitely miss all of our Division Three campaign. We knew he had to have the operation. He needed a bit more work than was first thought."

Kelly also missed the 2011 League campaign due to ankle surgery playing for DCU in the Sigerson Cup.
