Smith presents 'artistic' handmade Christmas presents for his family
Sam Smith gave his family handmade Christmas gifts.
The 'Stay With Me' hitmaker has revealed that he wanted to give them more personalised gifts and so opted for an "artistic" present.
He said: "I got them frames and drew a c**p stickman picture of each of my family members with arrows coming off with all the things I love about them. It's quite artistic."
The 22-year-old singer decided on the personal presents after he made a "mistake" with their gifts last Christmas.
He said: "I made the mistake last year of buying my family loads of stuff.
"The material things don't mean a lot to me any more. I said to them, 'I don't want anything. I want things that mean something'."
Meanwhile, Sam previously revealed that he will be jetting off to Australia for New Year's Eve so he can avoid the family rows that have happened "every year for 10 years".
He explained: "I have argued with my family every New Year's Eve for 10 years. So I'm going to travel to the other side of the world and strap myself to a tree so I can't argue with anyone.
"It's not huge arguments, but when all my family drink a bit and you've been together for 10 days over Christmas, at the end you all start arguing. It's just like any family."
