Roberts: I have never snogged Dec
Ashley Roberts has denied ever being romantically involved with Declan Donnelly.
The 'Butterfly Effect' singer has shrugged off reports that she had gotten close to 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' presenter Dec, after she appeared on the show as a contestant in 2012.
In an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper, Ashley explained: "I have never snogged Dec. We're friends.
"It's funny because he's been in a relationship for a while now but people still ask. I'm like, 'I'm not a homewrecker!'"
The blonde beauty went on to reveal that she is now seeing someone herself.
She added: "I'm happy and I'm dating. But I like to keep that area of my life private."
The former Pussycat Dolls songstress did reveal that she owes Dec and his hosting partner Anthony 'Ant' McPartlin a lot, after they boosted her confidence by asking her to perform on the tour version of their ITV show, 'Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway'.
She told the newspaper: "I feel very grateful to be around the boys and to be able to perform on the Takeaway tour with them. It means a lot that they wanted to support me. They're good guys. It feels like a family with them."
