Miley Cyrus gave what was arguably her most stripped back performance yet on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today.
But there was no nudity or vital sections of clothing missing. No twerking in latex, no smoking joints or any other such fire hazards. No inappropriate spanking or suggestive tongue movements.
It was just Miley, singing, and it was beautiful. Her cover of Lana Del Rey's Summertime sadness was a refreshing, gimmick free, fully clothed performance.
Her 2013 behaviour, if nothing else, has divided opinion. Some think she is a genius and has done a fantastic job of breaking away from her former Disney persona as well as earning herself lucrative spotlight glory.
Others, however, think she has a responsibility as a role model to young women and her behaviour and constant need for attention is simply sad.
In any case both sides of the argument are failing to take into account her clear musical talent.
It's apparent from her performance today that the 20-year-old is not only capable of producing impressive vocals but enjoys doing it.
We haven't really seen the 'Wrecking Ball' singer's passion for music in quite some time.
This performance probably won't garner as much media attention though :/
