Boyband shoot part of movie in BRIT award toilets

One Direction filmed part of their new movie in the toilets at the BRIT Awards last night.

The boy band debuted their new charity single 'One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)' live at the British awards ceremony and were followed at all times by documentary maker Morgan Spurlock, who is making '1D3D', a film following them around the world, charting their success.

Band member Niall Horan told BANG Showbiz: "Mr. Spurlock is here himself, we're shooting a movie, he's actually just been in the toilet with us, and its gonna be very access all areas! It's coming out in August."

Liam Payne added: "That's when you can see us in the toilet."

The group's new song - which mixes Blondie's hit 'One Way or Another' with the Undertones 'Teenage Kicks' - was recorded for charity Comic Relief and their performance was met with screams from thousands of fans at The O2 in London, and the band were pleased with the reaction.

Zayn Malik added: "It's a charity single, a couple of classic tunes, we're just honoured to be part of it and that we get to do something so amazing for an amazing cause."

The boy band - which also includes Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - didn't leave the event empty handed, being named winners of the new BRITs Global Success Award. They were also excited about the prospect of returning to The O2 venue on Saturday, to kick off their latest world tour.

Niall added: "This was a good start to the week, because on Saturday we open up our tour at the O2, so it's going to be a great year. Very exciting."

After the main BRITs ceremony, Harry and Niall were spotted at their record company, Sony Music's party, held in conjunction with Belvedere Vodka. Harry, 19, was greeted by Syco label head Simon Cowell - who helped put the band together - with a big grin and a hug, and they chatted together for a long time, as well as posing for pictures with fans.
