The singer-songwriter rose to fame by winning Australian Idol in 2003, and later served as a judge on Australia's X Factor.

He has also topped the Australian singles chart over the years, with tracks like ‘Like a Drum’, 'All I Need Is You' and 'Like It Like That'.

Australian broadcaster SBS confirmed today that Sebastian will perform on behalf of the country in Vienna this May.

It was announced that Australia would join the 60th annual song contest back in February.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Vienna on Saturday, May 23.
