Limerick murder: Three arrested

Gardaí in Limerick have arrested three men in connection with the murder of John Ryan in the city earlier this month.

Gardaí in Limerick have arrested three men in connection with the murder of John Ryan in the city earlier this month.

Mr Ryan was shot dead in Thomondgate as part of a feud between two family-based criminal gangs in north Limerick.

The three men arrested today were detained in the northside of the city at around 9am.

One is aged 60, while the other two are both 19.
