President McAleese starts Portugal visit

President Mary McAleese is in Portugal today to kick off a three-day state visit.

President Mary McAleese is in Portugal today to kick off a three-day state visit.

She is visiting the capital, Lisbon, where she will address law students.

Later she will meet Portuguese President Jorge Sampai, Prime Minister Barrosso and the President of the Assembly.

Minister for Communications, Dermot Ahern, is joining Prof McAleese.
