Christina Aguilera has signed a Pan-European partnership deal with mobile phone operator Orange and handset manufacturer Sony Ericsson, even though she has yet to confirm upcoming release or tour dates.
When the Dirrty star does release new material later this year, Orange customers who use Sony Ericsson phones will have access to exclusive downloads.
Aguilera is following in the footsteps of British pop star Robbie Williams, who signed a similar deal with Orange's rival T-Mobile in 2005.
She says of her recent recordings: "Some of the songs are kept authentic, sticking to a really raw, old-soul sound, where others combine elements of old blues, jazz and soul with a hard modern-day edge."
