The Teachers Union of Ireland has become the first public sector union to reject the proposed Croke Park agreement.

The Teachers Union of Ireland has become the first public sector union to reject the proposed Croke Park agreement.

The majority of those balloted said no to the proposals to cut wages and increase working hours.

It is the first completed ballot on the extension to the deal.

John MacGabhann, General Secretary of the TUI, outlines the main reason people rejected it:
