Customs officers seize 3.5m cigarettes
Customs officers in Cork have seized almost 3.5m Contraband cigarettes.
The sovereign brand cigarettes were on board a shipping container imported from Malaysia.
The retail value of the cigarettes is around €900,000.
The driver of the articulated truck transporting the container is being questioned.
