Gardaí in Co Kerry have released one of the two men arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of a homeless man in Tralee last month.

Gardaí in Co Kerry have released one of the two men arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of a homeless man in Tralee last month.

The pair were detained yesterday morning on suspicion of withholding information about the killing of Eddie Joe Clancy.

The 50-year-old died in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in an assault on Bridge Street on August 15th.

The second man arrested yesterday remains in garda custody today.
