Government set to announce decision on children's hospital site at 2.30pm

The Government is expected to announce the location of the new National Children's Hospital at 2.30pm today.

It is anticipated that the hospital will be built on a site close to St James's and the Coombe hospitals in Dublin's South inner city.

A new site needed to be chosen after a planning application to build the facility on the Mater site in Dublin was rejected by An Bord Pleanála.
