Gardaí in Dublin have released a 61-year-old woman arrested over the weekend in connection with a security van robbery in the south of the city.

The woman was among four people detained on Saturday after two handguns and a stolen van were found during raids on a number of properties in the capital.

She was freed without charge last night pending instructions from the DPP.

Three men in their 20s and 30s remain in custody in connection with Thursday's robbery, during which a substantial sum of cash was stolen while security staff were about to fill ATMs at the Nutgrove Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham.
