Parker is Magpies doubt
Newcastle captain Scott Parker is a major doubt for tomorrow’s visit of Arsenal to St James’ Park.
An ankle injury forced the midfielder off in the 56th minute of yesterday’s 2-1 victory at Sheffield United and Emre, who replaced him at Bramall Lane, is in line to start should Parker not be passed fit.
Striker Antoine Sibierski was also withdrawn against the Blades after picking up a knock.
