A search is resuming this morning for a teenager missing after a jetski accident yesterday evening in Mayo.

A search is resuming this morning for a teenager missing after a jetski accident yesterday evening in Mayo.

The youth, who is believed to be 19 years old and from Castlebar, has not been seen since his jetski capsized on Lough Beltra.

The alarm was raised at about 5.30pm by the teenager's friends, who had seen the incident.

Garda divers are joining members of the local coastguard unit in searching the lake today.
