Efforts to agree a new national pay deal will intensify this afternoon.
The social partners are back at Government Buildings for more talks with officials from the Taoiseach's department.
The last-ditch bid to agree a new pay deal began at the start of the week and negotiations are expected to run into the weekend.
Talks have continued through the week but it is understood no substantive progress has been made.
