Kenny: Government did not listen to common sense

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said today that the current state in the economy is because Fianna Fáil in Government refused to listen to common sense.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said today that the current state in the economy is because Fianna Fáil in Government refused to listen to common sense.

Kenny said if the Government is serious about the halting the rise in unemployment, they should publish their recovery programme now.

The comments were made at the opening session of the Fine Gael 'think-in' in Limerick.
